Social Issue: Teen Drug Abuse

As I was gearing myself up for a very productive day I stopped for awhile when I chanced upon a daily news paper. As usual news has not changed a bit especially when it comes to local politics and it’s always a challenge when I try to digest all the things they wanted to say. It may seem pretty obvious that some politicians just wanted the people for a joy ride since elections are coming soon once again.

It’s disheartening at times when you see them somewhat arguing over who’s who paid for this overseas trip or dinner of some politicians. I just hope that they will not forget other major social issues that need to be addressed and look into. Although I know the government will not just abandon talks about drug issue, families should also take part in looking for signs of teen drug abuse. Parents should realize that the earlier they notice changes in the behavior of their teens the more it is likely that abuse from any substance will be prevented
