Canon has been coming up with easy to use REBEL camera series and this EOS Rebel T3i 18-55mm IS II will surely capture any photographer’s fancy. With its superior 19.0 megapixel and easy easy operation and other feature, this RBEL camera is a thumbs up. Price will range from $900.

You can use SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards to record all your shots. I own the old Rebel Xti camera and upon seeing this, I want to upgrade as I want a camera with live view shooting in it. Hmmmm.. let’s see if I can still sell my old DSLR cam to have this one. And if ever I’ll upgrade, definitely, I’ll choose CANON!

My Appliance/ Gadget Wish List for 2011

I know Christmas is over and I should penny pinch this year but how can I have not a list when I’ve been seeing and hearing lots of gadgets. Aside from wanting to buy new kitchen utensils and furniture in the house, here’s a list of gadgets that I want to have. I guess I also deserve to have these and I hope and pray that I can buy them this year.

1. Samsung 42″ LCD TV series 4 or higher
My mom has been requesting me to replace our old LG TV at the sala and she wanted an LCD one. Actually, we have seen LCD TV at a nearby store but when I heard that these TV is cheaper in Riyadh so I asked my sister to canvass this for me and if it’s practical to buy it there.

2. HP Desktop PC
Been wanting to have another HP desktop that I can use at our house. Eventhough I have my Dell laptop already, I wanted a bigger monitor and more durable pc especially when I’m designing graphics. My laptop is overheating already and wanted a more durable one.

3. Canon IXUS point and shoot digi cam
My old Canon p/s cam broke 2x already and it finally gave up last December. I have no choice but to buy another one so that I can also share it with my brother. I have a DSLR but at times its too bulky to bring anywhere.

4. Panasonic Lumix 5 (LX5)
Been hearing good reviews about this camera and thought it’s also cool to have one. Just like I said it’s a good option to bring anywhere as I’m too tired to carry the bulky DSLR that I have.

As you can see, cellphone is not on my wish list eventhough I already need to replace my “jurassic” Nokia phone already. I guess that is not my priority this year most especially when I’m too lazy to text using my phone hehe.

iPhone / Macro Lens: I Like But I Don’t Need (yet)

Now that Christmas is less than 70 days to go already, I guess most of us have been planning or for some already shopping little by little to avoid being rush. I myself have once crammed buying for a gift and would you believe I went to the mall of Dec. 24th where everyone is in a rush and the store closing down early. I end up buying a not so nice gift because what I really wanted is out of stock. Boooo, I will never do that again.

Anyway, I have some few likes that I like to have like this iPhone which can be a perfect gift for myself and a great would-be replacement for my old Nokia (with no camera lol) phone. As much as I want to have it but I don’t think I really need to have one (at the moment), I suppose.

Since I’m also into digital photography then this Canon macro lens can add to my lens collection, not that I have many. My broken 50mm lens has not been replaced as well so this macro lens goes in my list as well.

I like to have these two BUT with the looks of it and upon careful thinking on my part, I still don’t need them or I will not die to have them yet this year. I also don’t want to muddle up my finances right now as it will be too hard. Unnecessary expenses like buying these expensive gadgets are not my priority right now. I don’t want to have loans or big credits at the moment. Canon PowerShot D10

Sometimes owning a DLSR like me can be a hassle as it is too bulky and heavy to be just carried around and I do’t feel like bringing it to a wild and rugged adventure because of my expensive lens. Anyway, talk about handiness and portability then a point and shoot comes to our mind. I still own a p&s cam and that definitely is very useful because I can just put it on my pocket or small purse.
