Blogs are a great new way to communicate with your friends, family, and the world about things that you care about. Some people have been afraid to start a blog because they feel like they need to know computer science and have a degree in web design, but that is not true. Creating and starting a blog can be very easy to do. It’s not like you have to mortgage refinance Washington, D.C., or fly to the moon. And it’s nothing like being a brain surgeon or a rocket scientist. With a few tips, you’ll be blogging in no time.
First of all, there are a couple of great, free blogging services that you can sign up for that make it cheap and easy to start and maintain your own blog. There is Worpress (which is probably the most popular), Blogger, TypePad, and Tumblr (mainly for very short, mobile blogging). All of these services are free and they give you all the tools you need to get started. You don’t even need to download anything because these sites will host your blog for you. All you need to get started is a username and password.
Once you’ve created the blog, you’ll have to create the look of your blog. Again, all of these sites offer free, easy templates to use in creating your first blog. WordPress generally has the most professional-looking blog templates, but they can also be hard to customize.
Once you’ve decided on a template, it’s time to start writing. Most people just blog about their lives and interests so their friends and family can read them. But you can also pick an area that you are enthusiastic about and choose to blog about that one, single topic. Pick something that you are passionate and knowledgeable about, write informatively and creatively, and soon you’ll have plenty of regular readers.

In this age and time, I reckon everybody is online most of the time. With the influx of modern technology and mammoth mount of info and data that can be share, there’s no doubt that the web is a great source of it. I could not even believe myself that I will be jumping in this technology bandwagon not until I was exposed to computer and net over a decade ago.
I was still naïve back then and even would be afraid of just turning on the computer of my sis for fear that I will delete or mess it up. Aside from that I thought that computer will caught a virus everytime I eat in front of it. It’s funny every time I recollect those times and made it me chuckle.
Gone were those days and now I have slowly learned about computers, blogging and simple redirection of domains. I’m still challenge with wordpress own hosting though that’s why I just leave this more techie work to my nephew who actually have this blog hosted on his own server. He is quite an expertise on hosting while I still need to learn more about it especially the asp web hosting but there’s WebHostingChoice.com, a free research guide online that can help us in finding web hosts for our blogs or sites (personal or for business).
