My gadget wishlist is getting longer everytime I see a new model of cellphone etc. at the market. Well, it’s just so easy for me to drool and dream over those gadgets but in reality I really have no intentions of buying them all. I initially wanted an iPhone but everytime I see the price of it, I’ll always backed out. It’s not that I don’t have money to buy for it but I only WANT it but not NEED it. With that thinking, I don’t overspend and don’t buy anything that I will just seldom use. It’s just like buying a supplement like leucine when you need it for your health, you buy it when your body needs it.
Anyway, it’s sure nice to have those latest gadgets but if I’m penny pinching and still have other goals so I’m not in a hurry to buy an iPhone, iPad or even an iPod.
While having the gift of gab may be thought of as an asset in certain situations and in certain professions such as a sales associate at DrJays, there’s a clear distinction between being someone who is chatty and someone who is gossipy. Being someone who is talkative and adept at carrying on a conversation is generally someone who is highly valued for those skills; however, being someone who can’t be trusted with information and is likely to spread rumors, causing more harm than good with their conversations, is looked upon by most as a social nuisance.
There’s a clear distinction between people who are great conversationalists and talk because they enjoy social interaction versus those who carry on conversations strictly to gather information and spread rumors. That’s why it’s best to make sure that you guard any sensitive information that you may have and only share that information with people you know will keep it safe. In general, when dealing with sensitive information it’s best to keep matters to yourself; however, if you must divulge information, be sure it is only with those who are required to know and among those you trust.
Engaging in the spreading of rumors is immature and can damage a person’s reputation. It’s also hurtful and often results in the loss of a relationship and respect.
When discussing a highly personal topic with a friend, family member or colleague, it’s best to consider how much information you want to divulge and the best place to share this information. More often than not, highly sensitive and personal information is best shared in a secluded and private setting to preserve the information and the person’s reputation. Whether the conversation takes place in a face-to-face setting or over the phone, having a quiet and private place to share personal information is key.
As homemaker we always strive to make our homes more comfortable for our families. We’re always on the lookout for nice things for our homes like durable furniture, unique piece of art or carefully crafted home accessories that can be the center of attraction to your home.
We also find ourselves looking for some bargains and good deals at the malls or even at our fave online shop. We’re always happy if we got a coupon or a discount card that can save as a little money on our pockets. Aside from all of those we also see to it that we serve our family with good healthy foods, giving all the nice and fine things in life. We should also remember that good health is a priority and if you have extra money why not buy yourself a whole life insurance to give you piece of mind. In this way, when the unexpected incident happen you have something to be left to your family.
Right after the incident that happened few weeks ago in our neighborhood, I can;t help but to think always about the safety of our homes and of course of ourselves. Just in case you didn’t know cops and civilian guards came to our house one night at about 10 pm bec. they are chasing a robber. It turned out that the robber was seen hiding at our backyard (though it has a high fence) and they thought they might get inside our house that is why them came.
It was scary for us, they searched the surrounding area and they found none. For sure the robber was able to run fast that they didn’t caught him. We were sleepless that night. These days not only our homes should be secured, our vehicles should be too. It was good that auto insurance quotes are now easily available for vehicle owners. We also need to be careful when we drive and our vehicles should be insured as well. It’s a must I reckon.
Summer is officially here and I can already feel its scorching heat. I never dare go out without my sunglasses and umbrella on for it is too much to bear (the heat). It’s also the time to drink lots of water or juices as we always perspire, these will replenish lost liquids in our body.
The school days will be over in few more days and the kids are actually looking forward to it because that means they will more time to play or be with their friends. It’s a perfect time to hit the beach or pool to have fun with the family. If possible I want another overseas trip but it looks like it’s not happening this year.
We had fun in Hongkong last year and for sure it’ll be also fun if we can get one of those Branson vacation packages online but our budget for this year will not support our travel there. Might as well enjoy our local destinations this time. Anyway, I can’t wait to finally pack my bags and head to the beach. Are you ready for summer?
Our country was battered by 2 typhoons in the last months and despite the hardship that many victims suffered they are moving on now and restoring the things that were lost to them. Though some victims are still traumatized and undergoing emotional therapy life has to move on. We have seen our people go hand in hand in helping each other.
There are medical and food emergency assistance that were being distributed up until now. Many countries also lend their helping hands as well. Lately another typhoon came and it has strong winds but minimal rains but it still left destructions on some areas.
I once came across a nice article written at Zen Habits and it gave some useful tips on how we can protect our minds. It made me think that I’ve been carefully protecting my desktop and laptop from any virus attack not minding that far more important to protect is our minds from a more destructive viruses that those pesky viruses, Trojans and more.
Just some of the ways where we can protect our minds are: avoiding too many self negative thoughts that can ruin our personality. I reckon those people who are constantly reminding themselves that are ugly, dumb, fat and they need to burn fat in an instant, worrying they are not worthy are prone to self destruction and often times have very low self esteem. We also should be open to new experiences and mingle more with people and exchange experiences.
Aside from that we also need to live a healthy lifestyle , eating good food exercise, laugh often and always ready to smile. OH BTW, it’s also good to engage yourselves to sports or hobbies.
Now that Christmas is less than 70 days to go already, I guess most of us have been planning or for some already shopping little by little to avoid being rush. I myself have once crammed buying for a gift and would you believe I went to the mall of Dec. 24th where everyone is in a rush and the store closing down early. I end up buying a not so nice gift because what I really wanted is out of stock. Boooo, I will never do that again.
Anyway, I have some few likes that I like to have like this iPhone which can be a perfect gift for myself and a great would-be replacement for my old Nokia (with no camera lol) phone. As much as I want to have it but I don’t think I really need to have one (at the moment), I suppose.

Since I’m also into digital photography then this Canon macro lens can add to my lens collection, not that I have many. My broken 50mm lens has not been replaced as well so this macro lens goes in my list as well.

I like to have these two BUT with the looks of it and upon careful thinking on my part, I still don’t need them or I will not die to have them yet this year. I also don’t want to muddle up my finances right now as it will be too hard. Unnecessary expenses like buying these expensive gadgets are not my priority right now. I don’t want to have loans or big credits at the moment. While those that have bad credits right now, find this Bad Credit Loans resource website be of help of you if you want to find a great solution on your not so perfect credit. For me, I’ll stick to my frugal ways as much as possible.
Actually I already switched to Firefox 3 browser long time ago already but I just need to open my Internet Explorer when I don’t want to log off on one of my WordPress account. I want to use to right now to edit one post at my other WP account but it’s not loading and it only says an Error.. Grrrrrrrrr.
It is also too slow and I hate it. I closed it and tried to open fresh IE 7 window but still it is not responding . Dunno what’s wrong with it , all I know it is useless at this point. I am thankful that Firefox is here to save my life and Opera as my back up.. Oh btw, I need to download Google Chrome as well so that I will put my Internet Explorer in the bin right now..
It’s been how many months now that I am craving to have a laptop of my own and I hope I can already buy next month. I want to have one so that I can use it at our house when I go home from work. I know it will be convinient for me and my nephews so that they can use. I am planning to buy either HP or Dell laptop. I will still look for nice specs and good price.
I also need to find where is the DELL store here located so that I can buy straight from them. Arggghh i need to have one now.
