Getting Back to their Favorite Sports
Time flies so fast and it’s only a matter of time that most of my nieces and nephew will be out of school and in the corporate world. As years passed by I could see them growing up and changing in their ways. Well I still have few of them who are still in grade and high school but they seem to grow fast too. Anyway semestral break is getting near and they’re asking me to plan a long weekend of fun together. Maybe they could get back to playing some of their favorite games before like badminton, volleyball and baseball. It would be fun to have it somewhere big or we could use a real football field to make it feel so real.
When I looked over their old sports gear I noticed that some are worn out already and need to be replaced especially the Batting Gloves that they used to wear when playing baseball and football. Since they’re now busy and preparing for their quarterly exams I will not bother them with choosing gloves and shirts. I will buy it myself and surprise them with the new sport gear for all of them. Get Them into Sports
I’m no sports aficionada but I always enjoy watching people compete and exert a lot of effort and dedication to their chosen sport. Their quest for their dream and goals are just insurmountable and true sports minded are very dedicated to hone their craft and talent. How’d I wish I am like them.
However I had my little share of being in sports way back in my highschool days when I was one of the participants in the 100meter dash competition. I did won in our year level but failed to grab the medal when I competed with many year levels.
Anyway, it’s good to know that schools and universities are still incorporating physical education or sports as part of school activities. This would encourage students to like sports and be physically active because in today’s world where computer and psp games are rampant, students still can enjoy outdoor activities.
I reckon we need to teach or expose kids to sports if we can. get them off their chairs and let them play outside.
