Must Have Gears for Athletes

I have an online friend (Litzie) who recently joined the Adidas The King of the Road Marathon that was held at Bonifacio High Street last Oct. 25. She was giddy enough as it is her first time to join such and indeed she had a good time. She even bought a Nike LunarGlide running shoes just for the event to match the shirt that they will be wearing.

I have never been to a running event so I guess it must be a different experience to run with other runners pro or non-pro just to have fun. Those that are running afficionados will find it useful to read some tips on buying running or trail shoes so that they will know what is best to use. Of course comfort and fit should be the top most priority that you’ll have to consider when buying. The web is a great source for many info and stores where you can buy such.

For serious runners and athletes the use of pedometers and heart rate monitors are great help in monitoring their speed, distance and heart rates. This is where they base their performances and whether they need to improve or not. These little gadgets for athletes are a necessity and are affordable at online store. You can check some at shopwiki.com if you can.

Your Employees will benefit from a Car Allowance Program

Here is one way to make your employees happy (well, we all know a business gets to keep competent and reliable staff as long as they are content with the employee-employer relationship): launch programs that they will benefit from. Corporate Reimbursement Services, Inc (CRS) is a company that offers consultancy or third party contracts to companies that might need a customized program for the employees. They particularly take care of the vehicle usage reimbursements or more commonly known as Car allowance program. In this program, CRS will make sure that the costs and rates are accurate and fair depending on the mileage and gas costs incurred by an employee who uses his personal car for business purposes.

The CRS program that is customized for your company will also follow a methodology that is IRS-approved that will make the reimbursements tax-free, therefore giving the employee a chance to bring home more money. Allowing your employees to use a personal car for work is providing the flexibility that most workers look for. Most are really comfortable using their own rather than drive one from the limited choices the company could offer. You will actually find it beneficial for both you and your staff because the program will see to it that all computations are valid and correct.

Hongkong Disneyland one of the most popular theme park destinations in Asia as it boasts of different attractions and entertainment that the kids and adults alike will surely enjoy. Our family is scheduled to be there this December and we are all excited already.

Would you believe that with our excitement because this will be our first time, I bought our tickets last MARCH?!! Hahaha that’s how excited are we, we thought by buying tickets early we can get at low price because we all know that December is a peak season as most families are having vacation. We didn’t get any travel insurance though. My mom will be with us in this trip and I just hope she’ll be in her best health and she can bear the cold weather of Hongkong in December.

Different Colors Affect Our Mood

As most of us know, colors can definitely set or affect our moods.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
GREEN- my favourite color ever since. See my header has a dash of green! It is known to have calming effect, refreshing and relaxing. Of course it is color of nature so it is cool or pleasant to the eyes. Color of peace.

BLUE – as well is calming, colors of the sky and crystal clear water.

PURPLE- exudes the feeling of royalty, wealth and romance. I have a friend who is a purple lady hehe.

RED- for passion (wooo), boldness and it wants to catch attention. Hmm now I know why some men love red sports car or truck and truck accessories. They want to seek attention from women huh.

YELLOW- color of happiness, enlightenment and optimism. Oh that’s why late Pres. Cory loves it.

ORANGE- exudes warmth and energy.

BROWN- color of earth. It makes us feel orderly and wholesome.

WHITE- as we all know it symbolizes purity and cleanliness.

What about you care to share your fave color?

Find Help in your Debt Management Woes

I guess not everyone is lucky to be debt free especially these days where there is an economy crunch everywhere. It’s always sad to hear people being laid off from work due to their company’s falling business. To avoid that situation companies are forced to remove some of their workforce to liberate them from more expenses. I even have some relatives in the US in Cal. area who lost jobs and aggressively seeking a new one because they fear they can’t pay their monthly house payments.

Staying out of debt can be stressful most especially to those individuals who have no source of income to pay for all of their dues. I’ve been trying myself as much as possible to freeze my spending mode to avoid financial problems but there are times we can’t really help but to shell out money, particularly when emergency arises. That is why when you have the means to save we should grab that opportunity.

Now, if you feel you are somewhat bothered and helpless in managing your debts, then this non profit debt management company can definitely help you. Discuss with them your concerns about your credit card dues or loans and I am positive that they will help you in any way they can.

Free Research Online Guide

In this age and time, I reckon everybody is online most of the time. With the influx of modern technology and mammoth mount of info and data that can be share, there’s no doubt that the web is a great source of it. I could not even believe myself that I will be jumping in this technology bandwagon not until I was exposed to computer and net over a decade ago.

I was still naïve back then and even would be afraid of just turning on the computer of my sis for fear that I will delete or mess it up. Aside from that I thought that computer will caught a virus everytime I eat in front of it. It’s funny every time I recollect those times and made it me chuckle.

Gone were those days and now I have slowly learned about computers, blogging and simple redirection of domains. I’m still challenge with wordpress own hosting though that’s why I just leave this more techie work to my nephew who actually have this blog hosted on his own server. He is quite an expertise on hosting while I still need to learn more about it especially the asp web hosting but there’s WebHostingChoice.com, a free research guide online that can help us in finding web hosts for our blogs or sites (personal or for business).

Virus Protection for the Minds

I once came across a nice article written at Zen Habits and it gave some useful tips on how we can protect our minds. It made me think that I’ve been carefully protecting my desktop and laptop from any virus attack not minding that far more important to protect is our minds from a more destructive viruses that those pesky viruses, Trojans and more.

Just some of the ways where we can protect our minds are: avoiding too many self negative thoughts that can ruin our personality. I reckon those people who are constantly reminding themselves that are ugly, dumb, fat and they need to burn fat in an instant, worrying they are not worthy are prone to self destruction and often times have very low self esteem. We also should be open to new experiences and mingle more with people and exchange experiences.

Aside from that we also need to live a healthy lifestyle , eating good food exercise, laugh often and always ready to smile. OH BTW, it’s also good to engage yourselves to sports or hobbies.
